Frozen Rose, Blood Orange, and Strawberry Sangria

tumblr_mhnyo4oXqD1qfpcnio1_500We know that sangria is a pretty standard recipe, but sometimes, a crappy glass will make you forsake it forever.

A small tip? It’s all in the color! Too red and it’s all wine. Too cloudy and there’s too much orange juice. We’ve taken regular Sangria and kicked it up a notch so that you never boycott a batch ever again.

Drink it up #TuesdayBoozeday revelers!

Ingredients
1 750-milliliter bottle dry rose wine
1/2 cup strawberry schnapps
½ cup of ice
1 lime, juiced
½ cup 7UP or Soda
4 blood oranges, juiced
2 cups of sliced strawberries

Directions: In a blender add wine, schnapps, orange juice, and lime juice. Blend until you have a slushy consistency and pour into a large pitcher. Top with 7UP, add strawberries and stir. Serve and enjoy!

There’s no excuse for a bad tasting (or looking) sangria. Now, if only we can get our tans to cooperate….
