Cinnamon Toast Cocktail

There are lots of things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Somewhere on your list, right below children and good health, we expect to see rum, hot apple cider and sugar. Not only does this cocktail have it all, but it can be whipped up in a jiffy, leaving more time for another serving of pumpkin pie. We’re thankful that we can enjoy this Cinnamon Toast Cocktail on #TuesdayBoozeday!



1 1/4 ounces Spiced Rum

6 ounces hot apple cider

1 tbsp raw sugar

1 tbsp cinnamon

1 cinnamon stick


Mix sugar and cinnamon together in a wide dish. Rim a glass by wetting the edges with cider or rum and rolling it in the mixture, until coated.

Add hot apple cider and rum to the rimmed glass rimmed, and garnish with a cinnamon stick. Or some sort of turkey themed swizzle sticks…whichever.

See? Easy, warming and delicious! When you’re stressing over turkey, matching napkin rings and making equal sized cranberry hunks in your cranberry sauce…relax with this cocktail and remember the little things! Like booze!
