Chai Tea Vodka

Screen Shot 2015-03-20 at 2.58.06 PMI’ve been bored with cocktails lately  — old Fashion this, Moscow Mule that – snooze. But I did have interesting one at a spot called Wilson & Wilson. It was different, had a nice zing to it. When I ask the waitress what was in it, she said they infused their alcohol with tea. Amazing idea. A few Google searches later, I saw this really great recipe on and knew I just had to try it. I switched it up, to make it more personal so feel free to check out the original recipe, mine and make it your own too.


  • 1 oz simple syrup (I used Nadia G’s recipe)
  • 2 oz lemon juice
  • 3 oz Chai tea infused vodka (Let the tea sit un the vodka for a 2-3 hours)
  • some ice
  • Dash of sparkling water
  • dried hibiscus flowers for flavor and beauty.


In a glass add ice, pour the simple syrup, lemon juice, and infused vodka. Lightly stir. Add a dried hibiscus flower, top with sparking water and gently stir again. Add flower for garnish.
