This batter is amazing. But be forewarned, Nadia G says you won’t be able to stop shkoffing these bad boys!
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
Extra virgin olive oil
1 head cauliflower
1 bottle dark stout beer
To make the batter: in a large bowl, combine flour, onion powder, garlic powder, a small pinch of salt and lots of freshly cracker pepper. Whisk to mix well.
Heat 1/4 inch of olive oil in a frying man on medium heat. Rinse cauliflower, pat dry, and cut into 1/4 inch flat, bite-size pieces. Pour a bottle of beer into another bowl. Dip cauliflower into beer, then lightly coat them with flour batter, removing any clumps. Fry the cauliflower in the olive oil until golden (about 3 minutes per side). Then place onto paper towels to absorb excess oil.
