Heavy drinking can often lead to nostalgia and bring back wistful memories from the past. The good news is that this year the past you revisit doesn’t have to be your own! So top your glass off, take a swig and log onto Bitchin’ Kitchen to enter our St. Patty’s Day contest extravaganza! Just follow the rainbow back through our archives, answer a few simple questions, and before you know it, you could find yourself hoisting your very own pot o’ gold while a pissed off leprechaun curses you out in a tiny Irish accent.

Be sure to enter before March 17th because, let’s be honest, you probably won’t be in any state of mind to be operating a computer – or anything else for that matter – come Saint Patrick’s Day. And don’t worry – if you’ve started celebrating early, we’ve kept the contest simple.

All you’ve gotta do is answer the following trivia questions and submit your answers to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to be entered to win a secret prize. We're not telling you what it is yet, but for every wrong answer feel free to take a celebratory Saint Patty’s Day shot. Ah, what the heck! For every right answer, do the same.

Trivia questions

1) In what recipe did the Bitchin’ Kitchen Crew add a little Bailey’s Irish cream to help revamp a classic chocolate-y beverage?

2) In “How To Throw a Beer Tasting Party” what does Angelique say is a waste of good alcohol?

3) Lastly, in one of our vintage Saint Patrick’s Day themed articles, who is the little man one of our Bitchin’ Crew members is scared of?

The winner will be announced next Friday, March 19th!

Good luck!

In today’s Testing 1-2-3 we’re going to be taking a look at pasta making machines, namely, a very basic model from Imperia. Why? Because according to the way we like to cook (and the way you should like to cook) the freshest ingredients are what really make a meal.
