Halloween is awesome. It’s a fact that there is pretty much nothing in this world that is as fun as slipping on something crazy and riding the wave of candy-induced sugar mania and/or the adrenaline rush of getting the crap scared out of you (thanks, Jason and Freddy). But shelling out mucho dinero for some piece of polyester is for newrds! With a creative imagination and maybe some minimal add-ons, you can rock Halloween DIY style with just the stuff you have around the house.

I was the type of kid that at 5 years old, wouldn’t eat my dinner unless I watched Michael Jackson’s "Thriller" video. I loved horror movies and my favorite holiday wasn’t Christmas, it was Halloween. I have a propensity towards the creepy… what can I say?!

This year, I’m trying something a little different. Glam Pumpkins.

Since none of the BK gals really like pumpkin guts, we’ve compiled an easy how-to guide to glamming up your pumpkins with no muss, no fuss and definitely NO CARVING.

Scratch that, who even has a foyer? This week in D-I-Y we’re showing you how to make the most of your shiny stuff and flaunt your jewels for everyone to see, with a great jewelry-hanging frame.

Today's craft is all about combining glamour with the mundane by adding some glitz to the lamest things you own.

For example, there's clearly nothing cool about asthma. And, as any sufferer knows, the asthma inhaler isn't exactly the hippest tool to be toting. Sure it could save your life, but it's more likely to cramp your style.
