We’re all used to the same old margarita mixtures: lime, strawberry, and maybe some banana. Boring. We thought we'd shake it up a bit by suggesting this subtly delicious and yet mostly underrated Coconut Margarita. It’s fresh, it’s cold, and it reminds me of warmer seasons.
Some people think they hate coconut, but that probably just means they haven't had it the right way. Often, the best way to make any drink better is simply by adding alcohol. It might not always help you to enjoy the flavor, but the good news is you’ll soon be too toasted to care.
On to the recipe!
Directions
In a blender add ice, coconut milk, tequila, pineapple juice and triple sec. Blend until creamy and smooth. Wet the rim of a large margarita glass and dip into the coconut flakes. Next, pour coconut mixture in your glasses, sprinkle some flakes, and serve!
Remember, it’s the holiday season, and what better way to impress the guests than with your extensive knowledge of celebratory alcoholic beverages. Enjoy!
