This week has been a celebration of the underdog. And we can’t get more underdog than Cherry Brandy... because, well, not many people drink it.
At a bar, no one will ever hear their boyfriend ordering a Cherry Brandy on the rocks – unless, their boyfriend is Perez Hilton, in which case they have bigger problems.
Cherry Brandy is a grape brandy with a savoury cherry flavour. On its own, it kind of just tastes like a really strong cherry cough syrup, but when you mix it up with 7UP and a lemon wedge it’s pretty amazing. And if that's still not underdog enough for you, you can crank it up a notch by just mixing 7UP and a lemon wedge with actual cherry cough syrup. That's pretty amazing too, and much more hardcore.
