With 2012 finally here (a.k.a the Mayan END OF DAYS) some people may be stockpiling food and water like a hoarder extraordinaire, but for fashionistas everywhere, there’s one primary concern: what does one wear to an apocalypse? This edition of "Is it Bitchin?'" explores the latest in post-apocalyptic chic, the ear-cuff hair-comb. Say that three times fast without messing up!

Everyday, I’m faced with the same problem: WTF am I going to wear? And so I tend to shop in outfits. It’s true, ask anyone who knows me well and they’ll tell you: I can’t just buy a super cute top. No, I have to buy a complete outfit – bottom, blazer, purse, and accessories. It’s like fashion OCD. After a while, you realize that while this does make getting ready a no-brainer, it also leaves you with no place to go because you have no cash.

In an attempt to fix my shopping predicament, I have discovered the perfect way to make the best out of one staple item – mixing and matching. We're still wearing our rain boots – are you jealous? For many of you, Spring has been around since early march and you’ve already had the opportunity to sport some of fashion’s newest styles this season. But for us? It’s been pretty pointless to go shopping for some fresh attire.

Montreal Fashion Week is in full spin and we kicked off the event with Ralph Leroy’s collection last night at Marché Bonsecours, an evening filled with color, music, makeup, and a sexy fashion show to boot.
