Asian Spinach Salad with Grilled Pears

Feast your eyes on the ultimate salad. Tangy, sweet, salty, and spicy - a great mixture of flavors you're sure to enjoy.



Ingredients
2 Asian pears
2 cups baby spinach
1 bunch green onions, thinly sliced
1 portion fried noodles
1 tablespoon canola oil
A few drops toasted sesame oil
1 tablespoon good rice wine vinegar
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon soy sauce
A pinch of wasabi paste
Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste


Directions
For Dressing: In a jar, add canola oil, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, maple syrup, soy sauce, wasabi paste, and freshly cracked pepper. Shake vigorously to mix.

For Pears: Slice pears a 1/2 inch thick and lightly brush with canola oil. Sprinkle with sea salt and slap 'em on a sizzling hot grill for 1 minute per side.

In a big bowl combine 2 cups of baby spinach with grilled pears, and thinly sliced green onions. Drizzle with dressing and top with fried noodles.
