Since we were all so good with the veggie de-tox last week, we’re going to undo all that hard work with one little (but lethal) drink. Approach this drink with caution, it may taste like something from Willy Wonka’s later years but it packs a boozy punch. You’ve been warned, now check this bad boy out!

Keeping healthy in the winter months is key, but the effort needed to get all of your daily veggies can leave you feeling like a ravenous rabbit! Salads are great and all, but shkoffing so many greens can get a little boring. Combining your veggies in one easy to drink beverage is quick, customizable and doesn’t pack the crate-load of sodium that the store-bought version has! You can use this recipe as a guide, but feel free to sub in your favorite veggies or amp up the spices.

In honor of this week's episode, Getting the Romance Back, we're celebrating the most romantic of drinks: champagne. Whether you’re toasting to an engagement or drowning your sorrows, a little bit of the good stuff makes life a little sweeter. Some people say that champagne should only be enjoyed straight up, but we say: the more the merrier! And by more, we mean more booze. WOOT! Here are some cocktails to help you feel the love!

Sure, Sangria’s great and all,  but when that temperature starts dipping low, we need another way to use our left-over red wine to create something totally delicious! Enter mulled wine, a holiday classic that comes from Germany (they call it Glühwein). Meant to be drunk after a long day of hitting the slopes, this is the drink of choice for snow-bunnies and couch potatoes alike.

It’s warm, it’s spiced and it tastes like a big warm hug. Did we mention we really like this drink? Warning: it goes down easily, a little too easily, so try and drink in moderation. Or at least make sure you have nothing important to do after downing a few, because you’ll really just want to snuggle into your happy place.

Oh, white-wine spritzers. The very name conjures up images of women hosting Tupperware parties and debating what pattern of chintz will look best under their plastic sofa cover. It’s an embarrassingly lady-like drink, one that many of us will associate with the wine coolers we stole from our parents’ fridge—oh yeah we went wild with the 0.05% alcohol! Here’s the thing though, it’s really tasty. Like REALLY tasty. It’s fizzy, not too sweet, kind of like a Bellini’s more sophisticated cousin. So woman-up! Give this maligned cocktail a try next time you have the girls over for book club…err, we mean roller derby appreciation rock-outs. Yes, those.
