Fancy Fast Food is a blog that shares reader-submitted fast food low-high, nasty-looking to surprisingly appetizing transformations.

A Wendy's Baconator combo is pureed and served as a chic napoleon; a KFC meal is cooked into an haute chicken corn chowder, and a lowly Popeyes deal is crafted into spicy chicken sushi (see photo).

With the cheeky tagline, "Yeah it's still bad for you — but see how good it can look!" this site celebrates the best aspects of fast food (calorie-laden, heart attack and guilt-inducing goodness) while doing away with the notorious unsightly (and appetite killing) presentation of fast food chains.

We love it 'cause it gives you all the gluttony without the grease dripping out of the wrapper and onto your jeans! Now if only someone could come to my house on Sunday mornings and make over my sloppily thrown together hangover brunch. I smell a new blog cooking...

Foodie Finds is an ongoing feature that showcases cool stuff (online and off) for food lovers.

Today's Foodie Find is Project Foodie, a website that offers technological tools for food enthusiasts. It acts as a hub for recipes, allowing cooks to search over 75,000 recipes from multiple newspaper, magazine and cookbook publishers, and store their favourites  online. We like this idea because it keeps your kitchen cupboards free of old recipes in musty magazines and crumbling, yellowed newspapers.

You can use it to stay organized, and you can also check out its blog for foodie news, and to find rockin' new dishes. But no matter how much you love it, don't go throwing out Granny's recipes, you ungrateful brat! Those things are gold. Gold, I tell ya!
